Wenceslas Square

Wenceslas Square is probably the most famous place in Prague. It is always busy here. Many sightseeing tours start from the statue of King Wenceslas at the top of the square.

Wenceslas Square is really more of a boulevard than a square. It is the centre of the cultural life in Prague, and an important commercial centre.

Wenceslas square is home to many hotels, restaurants, shops and night clubs.

Wenceslas Square represents the spiritual heart of Prague. Every revolution in Prague has taken place here, and Wenceslas Square has been used as a venue for many victorious celebrations.
